1. Overview

Deepify.AI ("we", "us", "our") operates Deepify VL. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in via Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your OAuth provider. We store this to manage your account.

Usage Data

We track the number of videos you generate per day and month to enforce usage limits. We do not track which specific topics you generate videos about for marketing purposes.

Generated Content

Your text prompts and generated videos are stored to provide the Service (your library, sharing). Videos are stored in Google Cloud Storage. Prompts are stored in our database.

Payment Information

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Technical Data

We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps for security and debugging purposes. These are retained for 30 days.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To manage your account and subscription
• To enforce usage limits
• To improve video generation quality
• To detect and prevent abuse
• To communicate service updates (email, rare)

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Google Cloud Platform — infrastructure (compute, storage, database)
• Firebase — authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• AI Model Providers — your prompts are sent to AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenRouter) to generate scripts. These providers have their own privacy policies.
• Vercel — frontend hosting

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all communications. Database access is restricted to our application services. API keys are stored as cryptographic hashes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — View your data in Settings
• Download — Download any video you've generated
• Delete — Delete individual videos or your entire account
• Portability — Download your videos in standard MP4 format
• Correction — Update your display name in Settings

Account deletion (Settings → Danger Zone) permanently removes all your data including videos, usage history, and profile information.

7. Cookies

We use a single authentication cookie (auth-token) to maintain your login session. This is a first-party, session-essential cookie. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
